Introduction
Bradley Clarke is the kind of young leader who makes you believe in the future. Thoughtful, driven, and deeply rooted in purpose, he carries himself with the kind of quiet confidence that doesn’t demand attention — it earns it. As Mr Teen Universe International Jamaica 2025, Bradley represents far more than a title. He represents a generation of young people ready to lead with vision, resilience, and impact.
Recognized for his previous performance and officially appointed under the rules of the international organization, Bradley’s journey is one defined by consistency, character, and a clear sense of mission. His success on the international stage — where he placed 2nd Runner-Up and was later appointed Mr Teen Universe International Tourism 2025 — only adds to a story already shaped by discipline, self-discovery, and service.
But beyond the accolades, Bradley’s true power lies in his purpose. From championing youth empowerment to pursuing a future in tourism and national development, he is building a legacy rooted in leadership, authenticity, and hope. In this exclusive interview with Fervid Magazine, Bradley opens up about growth, grief, ambition, and what it truly means to use your voice for something bigger than yourself.
The Interview
FERVID: First of all, congratulations. What was going through your mind when you were appointed Mr Teen Universe International Jamaica 2025?
Bradley Clarke: In that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I thought about the journey, the sacrifices, and the people who believed in me along the way. Stepping into this role wasn’t just about the title — it represented an opportunity to serve, inspire, and represent Jamaican youth on a greater platform.
FERVID: How would you describe yourself to someone meeting you for the first time?
Bradley Clarke: I would describe myself as adventurous, driven, and passionate. I’m someone who is not afraid to take risks in pursuit of growth and purpose. I believe that stepping outside of your comfort zone is where true transformation happens, and that mindset has helped shape the person I am today.
FERVID: What motivated you to pursue this path?
Bradley Clarke: My motivation came from my desire to inspire young people and show them that their dreams are valid. I saw this journey as an opportunity to use my voice and platform to promote confidence, leadership, and personal development among youth.
FERVID: What does representing Jamaica mean to you personally?
Bradley Clarke: Representing Jamaica means carrying the pride, culture, and resilience of our people wherever I go. It means being an ambassador who reflects the strength, talent, and limitless potential of Jamaican youth.
FERVID: What are you most passionate about at this stage of your life?
Bradley Clarke: At this stage of my life, my greatest passion is the enhancement of our youth presence. I want young people to feel seen, heard, and empowered to take up space in leadership, innovation, and national development. When we invest in our youth and nurture their potential, we are ultimately investing in the future of our nation.
FERVID: How do you balance school, personal growth, and your responsibilities as a titleholder?
Bradley Clarke: Balance comes from discipline, structure, and strong time management. I make it a priority to stay organized and intentional with my time so that I can fulfill my responsibilities as a student, continue growing personally, and represent my title with excellence. I also remind myself that every opportunity to learn or serve is part of my overall journey.
FERVID: Who are your role models, and how have they influenced your journey?
Bradley Clarke: My greatest role model is my mother, who raised me to be the young man I am today. Her strength, resilience, and dedication have been a constant source of inspiration in my life. I’m also inspired by the people I surround myself with — individuals who challenge me to grow, support my dreams, and encourage me to continue being a beam of light to others.
FERVID: What challenges have you overcome that shaped your character?
Bradley Clarke: One of my biggest challenges was truly discovering who I was and understanding my purpose in life. Finding my voice and learning how to use it to inspire others was a journey in itself. Losing my grandmother was also one of the most difficult moments in my life. However, I now use that loss as motivation to keep pushing forward every day and to honor her memory by striving to become the best version of myself.
FERVID: What social issues are you most passionate about addressing in Jamaica?
Bradley Clarke: I am particularly passionate about youth development and creating safe spaces where young people can discover their potential. Many young individuals struggle with self-doubt, lack of mentorship, and limited opportunities. I believe we must focus on empowering youth through mentorship, education, and positive community initiatives so they can develop the confidence and leadership skills needed to shape Jamaica’s future.
FERVID: How do you hope to inspire other young people across the country?
Bradley Clarke: I hope to inspire them by leading through example. I want young people to see that no matter where you come from, your dreams are possible with hard work, faith, and determination. If my journey can encourage even one young person to believe in themselves, then I know I’m making a difference.
FERVID: What are your academic and career aspirations?
Bradley Clarke: I currently study Cruise Shipping and Marine Tourism at Caribbean Maritime University. My goal is to thrive within the tourism industry of Jamaica and the Caribbean at large. Tourism is one of the most powerful drivers of economic growth in our region, and I want to contribute to its development in a way that promotes sustainability, innovation, and opportunities for young people to participate in the industry.
FERVID: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Bradley Clarke: In five years, I see myself continuing to grow both professionally and personally within the tourism sector while expanding my work in youth empowerment. I envision building initiatives that mentor young people, encourage leadership, and help them discover their own potential. Ultimately, I want my career and my advocacy to work hand in hand to create positive change.
FERVID: What does leadership mean to you as a young man?
Bradley Clarke: Leadership, to me, means serving others while setting a positive example. It is about using your voice responsibly, uplifting those around you, and creating opportunities for others to grow. True leadership isn’t about being in front — it’s about empowering people so that everyone can rise together.
FERVID: What does confidence look like to you?
Bradley Clarke: Confidence is believing in who you are while remaining humble enough to keep learning and growing. It’s not about perfection; it’s about authenticity. When you embrace your strengths, accept your imperfections, and walk boldly in your purpose, that is what true confidence looks like.
FERVID: What life lesson has had the biggest impact on you so far?
Bradley Clarke: The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that setbacks are not failures — they are opportunities for growth. Every challenge carries a lesson that helps shape who you become.
FERVID: What legacy do you hope to leave in this chapter of your journey?
Bradley Clarke: I hope to leave a legacy of empowerment and inspiration, reminding young people that their voices matter and that their dreams are worth pursuing.
FERVID: What advice would you give to other teens who want to chase their dreams?
Bradley Clarke: Believe in yourself, stay consistent, and never allow fear to limit your potential. Your dreams are possible if you’re willing to work for them.
FERVID: How do you stay focused and motivated in a world full of distractions?
Bradley Clarke: I stay focused by reminding myself of my purpose and the impact I want to create. When you are clear about your goals and your mission, it becomes easier to filter out distractions and remain committed to the bigger picture.
FERVID: What does success mean to you beyond the title?
Bradley Clarke: Success to me goes far beyond a title. If you throw a pebble into a lake, it creates a ripple effect. One small action can change the entire trajectory of someone’s life. I believe success is about being that catalyst for change. Be the change, stand tall, and allow your crown — whether visible or invisible — to radiate beams of light for others to see and find their own ignition.
FERVID: What message would you like to leave for readers of Fervid Magazine?
Bradley Clarke: Never underestimate the power of your dreams and your voice. Each of us has the ability to inspire change in our communities and beyond. Continue to believe in your purpose, uplift those around you, and remember that the light you carry within you has the power to illuminate the path for others.
